Funeral Home: Brainard
Timothy Lodholz, 59, Ringle, a bright light in this world, went dim when Tim, our beloved husband, dad, papa, son and brother was taken from us suddenly on June 23, 2013. His presence always brought joy and laughter to those who surrounded him and now our hearts are heavy with sadness. While he enjoyed hunting and fishing his number one priority in his life was his family. Everyday his actions displayed the depth of love he carried for his wife that is unimaginable to most. He had a relationship with his daughters and son-in-law that most dads could only wish for. He committed himself to developing a relationship with his grandson that he adored that made him so proud to be his papa. While Sandy’s parents were his in-laws he often referred to them as another mom and dad. He left us with the example to always make the best of every day and to support those you love unconditionally.
Tim was born on July 9, 1953 in Antigo, WI to Rodger Lodholz and Cleora LaCoque. He graduated from Antigo High School in 1971. He became a Journeyman Toolmaker and also graduated from UW Stout with a B.S. degree in VTAE Adult Teaching.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Sandy; his daughters, Jennifer Laabs of Hatley and Katelyn of San Francisco; son-in-law, Jeremy Laabs, who was like a son to him; his grandson, Elijah, who was the apple of his eye; his father, Rodger (Ester) Lodholz and his mother, Cleora Beyer; his father and mother-in-law Don and Lois Schroeder, who were like Tim’s parents. He is further survived by 7 brothers: Robert, Rick, Randy (Colleen), Steve, David “BJ” (Trish), John, and Ron and a sister, Julie.
He taught and mentored many students and friends over his teaching career at NTC.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. Rev. Lance Hoelscher of Mount Olive Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
