Margaret “Peggy” Rebhahn, age 66 of Wausau, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 22, 1947, in Richland Center, WI, daughter of the late James and Helen (Pellett) Kraska. Peggy married Michael Rebhahn on March 5, 1966 in Richland Center. She worked for Kmart as manager of their home center department. She later worked for Tower Credit Union where she was in charge of the checking and credit card accounts.

Peggy was very involved with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Club, and was chosen as Wausau Elk Lodge #248’s “Elk of the year” last year. She was an avid Packers and Brewers Fan, and was also an animal lover. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and reading.

Survivors include her husband Michael, Wausau; two sons, Todd Rebhahn (Michelle Mosher), of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Craig Rebhahn, St. Cloud, MN; three grandchildren, Tyler, Bailey and Elise; sisters, Martha (Paul) Falkenstein, Cross Plains, WI, Anna Mae (Howard) Prell, Iron River, WI, Mary (Robert) Gillingham, Colchester, IL; sister-in-law, Carol Kraska, Mondovi, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Kraska.

Friends and family will be invited to share their memories at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St. Wausau. An Elks Lodge of Sorrow service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to the New Life Pet Adoption, 125 Cattail Ave. Marathon, WI 54448
