Ethel E. Kolpack, formerly of Bowler, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Langlade Hospital, Antigo.
She was born on August 3, 1932 in Tigerton, the daughter of the late Alvin and Elsie (Brooks) Korth.
On June 16, 1951, Ethel was united in marriage to Norman Kolpack in Mattoon. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1999.
Ethel enjoyed flower gardening, going for walks, shopping and going out to restaurants. She had a knack for finding four-leaf clovers and could spot them easily on her walks. Ethel loved spending time with her friends, children and grandchildren and her late dog, Smokey.
Survivors include four children, Gary Kolpack, Shawano, Nancy (Patrick) Kriegel, Mattoon, Carol (Michael) Fandrey, Birnamwood and Armand (LeaAnn) Kolpack, Bowler; nine grandchildren, Joshua and Brandon Kriegel, Krystle, April and Shannon Fandrey and Kasey (Melissa) Austin, Jamie and Montana Kolpack and two great-grandchildren, Karter and Mason Kolpack. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and a special friend, Judy Wendt.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Clyde Korth and one step-brother, Forest Brooks.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, Mattoon. Rev. Dean Bertsch will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, town of Hutchins, Shawano County. Visitation will be on Monday from 9am until the time of services all at the church.
