Robert L. Moss, 77, Aniwa, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.
He was born on December 8, 1935 in Aniwa, the son of the late LeRoy and Lillian (Dankmeyer) Moss.
On October 12, 1957, Robert was united in marriage to Ann Jean Fessenden in Antigo. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2001.
Robert and Ann moved to Kenosha in 1959, where Robert worked at the former American Motors in Kenosha for over 25 years. He served as Union President for nine years. After retirement, the couple moved back to Aniwa. Robert enjoyed hunting, playing cards and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include six children, Craig (Arlyn) Moss, Philippians, Barbara (Charles) Laurent, CA, Robert Moss, Aniwa, Shelly (Randy, Sr.) Nehls, Kenosha, Kari (Greg) Gierl, Kenosha and Kenneth Moss, Aniwa; eight grandchildren, Steven, Mandy, Steffani, Melessa, Randy, Jr., Geena, Sammy and Kaylee; 11 great-grandchildren, Izeck, Jemah, Daryl, Tylia, Aysha, Ja’Keem, Louis, Brayden, LeRoy, Kaleb and Matthew; and his siblings, Peggy Jost, Neenah, Shirley (William) Falk, Mattoon and Art Moss, Denver, CO.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by siblings, Fritz Smith, Johnny Smith, Gerald Smith, Lee Popp, Betty Balderas and LeRoy Moss.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Fr. Anthony Ibekwe will officiate. Interment will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Aniwa. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:30am until the time of services at the funeral home.
