Louis Pire, 50, of Wausau passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at his home.

He was born March 14, 1962 in Green Bay to the late Robert and Leona (Kluck) Pire. After receiving a degree in accounting, he worked at Northern States Beef in Edgar. He later worked for over 16 years at Eastbay in Wausau. Louis loved watching the Bucks, Brewers, Packers and Badgers and could talk about team and player statistics to anyone. He attended several Pack Attacks at Weston Lanes and was a fan of the Wausau Woodchucks. He closely followed Nascar and was a big supporter of Matt Kenseth. When Louis wasn’t watching sports, you could find him working on puzzle books and word finds.

Louis is survived by his brother, Chris of Wausau, good friends, Sue Karau, Rose, Karen, Tim (Jane), Arnie, Ron and Pete Passow all of Wausau and a special “niece”, Samantha Passow.

Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Helke Funeral Home, Wausau. Deacon Peter Burek will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. You may sign our family guest book at
