Elsie M. Wilke, 91, Aniwa, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at her home.
She was born on February 20, 1921 in Portage County, the daughter of the late Ernest and Leona (Roe) Erdmann.
On August 31, 1946, Elsie was united in marriage to Henry Wilke in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1976.
Henry and Elsie farmed in the township of Easton for many years. Elsie enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, crocheting, watching television and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include three daughters, JoAnn Pray, Aniwa, Jean (Ralph) Pagryzinski, Bevent and Carol Wilke, Wausau; one stepson, Edward (Sharon) Wilke, Wausau; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gary Pray; one granddaughter, Marianne Pray and six siblings.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church, town of Easton. Rev. Robert Bleeke will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9am until the time of services at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
