Phyllis A. Wilson, 82, Aniwa, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at her home.
She was born on May 7, 1930 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Ludwig) Beeson.
On September 19, 1949, Phyllis was united in marriage to Wayne B. Wilson at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Chicago. They shared 56 wonderful years together until Wayne’s death in 2005.
Phyllis was a wonderful wife and mother. She returned to school as an adult to become an LPN. Phyllis worked at Langlade Hospital, the Homme Home of Wittenberg and retired from Mount view Care Center, Wausau.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne E. Wilson and Michael F. (Sandy) Wilson; four daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Artz, Barbara (Neal) Falstad, Susan (Douglas) Willcome and Julie (Daryl) Staeven; her grandchildren, Wayne A. Wilson, Lindsay Wilson, Dennis Becker, Brian Artz, Jesse Artz, Mark (Aleasha) Falstad, Kyle (Tina) Falstad, Lisa (fiancé, Dakota Davis) Falstad, Todd (fiancée, Sara Egging) Willcome, Kathleen (Neil) Szutkowski, Theresa (Mike) Mullen, Timothy (Jennifer) Staeven, Robin (Jay) Kronenwetter and Andrew, Colin, Alex, Casey and Logan Wilson; six great-grandchildren and her brother, Ludwig (Sylvia) Beeson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her step-father, Edward T. Joy and an infant daughter, Theresa Virginia.
The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 4pm on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood. Fr. Anthony Ibekwe will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2pm until the time of services at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
