Nancy I. Burger, 83, of Wausau, died Saturday, January 5, 2013. Nancy was born February 8, 1929 in Wausau to the late Richard and Stella (Siepp) Wieman. She married the late William C. Burger on August 17, 1946. Nancy enjoyed antiques, gardening, nature, playing guitar, singing in the Bill Burger Band, and motorcycle trips. Survivors include one son, Bill (Patricia) Burger; one daughter, Debra (Robert Silverman) Burger-Silverman; two grandchildren, Craig (Christine) Burger and Brian (Heidi) Burger; six great grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Dibora, and Tyler, Mackenna and AJ. Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings Betty (Wieman) Monroe, Russell Wieman, Leah (Wieman) Miller, Loretta (Wieman) Willms, Laverne Wieman, and Elwood Wieman. Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St., Wausau. The Rev. Chris Juvinall of Wausau Bible Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will take place from 10:30 am until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
