Daniel J. Barger, 47, Mattoon, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at his home.
He was born October 6, 1965 in Hinsdale, Illinois, the son of Robert Barger, Green Bay and the late Patricia (Hoerres) Barger.
After leaving Illinois, Daniel volunteered for the Cascade Fire Department and was employed at Kohler Corp. Three years ago he moved to Mattoon and was currently employed at Wisconsin Veneer & Plywood.
Survivors include his father, Robert Barger, Green Bay; brother, Ethan (Erin) Barger, Raleigh, North Carolina; two nieces and one nephew.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
