June I. (Freuen) Hall, 82, of Wausau was reunited on Monday, November 19, 2012 with the love of her life, her husband of 62 years, Dick.
She was born June 30, 1930 to the late Mathias and Olivia (Kloeckner) Freuen. She married Roger “Dick” Hall on June 25, 1949 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Wausau. Dick preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2011.
June cherished family and became known as "Mom" to many people. She had a unique talent of making everyone feel like they were loved and welcome any time.
June worked at Wausau Insurance Companies and later, Clements Insurance Agency until her retirement.
She enjoyed sewing, dancing, traveling to visit her family and friends, camping, and playing cards - especially cribbage with her husband, Dick. June loved to bowl and was the secretary of her bowling league for many years. She was also a long-time member of Homemakers Club and Church Circle 2 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wausau. She will always be remembered for her kind, sweet manner.
Survivors include two sons, Rick (Bev) Hall, Burlington, IA, and Matt (Ann) Hall, Frisco, TX; three daughters, Debbie (Rick) Clements, Wausau, Patti (Wally) Schilling, Mosinee, and Mary (Jim) Forer, Wausau; 13 grandchildren, Michelle (Jared) Ellerhoff, Megan (Shane) Thirtyacre,
Richard (Lisa) Hall, Joseph (Kerry) Clements, Steve (Alison) Clements, Amy Clements, Marcus (Sherry) Pape, Lisa, (Josh) Pap, Niki (Ryan) Isenhart, Matthew Hall, Chris (Tonya) Forer, Kimberly Forer and Rob Forer. She also had 13 great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Friday November 23, 2012 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 611 Stark St., Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am at the church.
Brainard Funeral Home, Wausau, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Alzheimer Association of Central Wisconsin.
