Laura M. Yaeger, 57, Wittenberg, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg. She was born on April 27, 1955 in Wausau, the daugther of the late John Yaeger and Dorothy (Wolfinger) Yaeger. Laura was briefly married to Marty VerHagen. Laura worked as a clerk and bookkeeper at Quinlan's, Antigo and Wagner Oil Company until her illness 15 years ago. She was an avid sports fan and loved NASCAR and local stockcar races. She also enjoyed rock music and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Sean, Antigo; her mother, Dorothy Yaeger, Wittenberg; five brothers, John (Patricia) Yaeger, Maple Grove, MN, Joel Yaeger, Wittenberg, Peter (Leslie) Yaeger, Waukesha, Paul (Cindy) Yaeger and Matthew Yaeger, all of Wittenberg and seven sisters, Mary (Tim) Dorin, Neenah, Melissa (Howard) Wagner, Antigo, Catherine Yaeger, Weston, Peggy (Gene) Gretzlock, Hatley, Polly (Scott) Zyduck, Eland, Julie (Dan) Stewart, Hatley, and Amy (Brad) Radtke, Marion. She is also survived by many neices, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her father, Laura was preceded in death by one sister in infancy and nephew, Dustin Yaeger. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Holy Family-St. William Catholic Church, Wittenberg. Father Patrick Lloyd will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9am until 10:45am at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg.
