Dave N. Grade, age 72, of Wausau died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Hospice House, Wausau.

Dave attended Wausau Schools K-12 and graduated from Wausau High. He earned a BA and MA in Music Education from UWSP. He brought the President's Own Marine Band twice to the area. In retirement, he served on the Child Evangelism Fellowship State Board.

Dave delighted in his children and grandchildren and supported them in their athletic, musical or dance endeavors. He enjoyed pulling them behind the boat, playing the marble game or dominoes, and sipping root beer on the front porch. He enjoyed fishing with his buddies which was really more talking around the campfire than fishing. He enjoyed the music of Bill & Gloria Gaither and male quartets.
