John "Jack" Padinger, Sr., 74, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away September 20, 2012. He was born on October 20, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of the late John Paul Padinger and Pearl (Wincentsen) Padinger Hanover. Jack served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 until 1961. He was hardworking and dedicated to his family. Jack had a great sense of humor. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting and had a passion for golfing every day the weather would permit. Jack's Green Bay Packers couldn't play without him enjoying the game and yelling at television. Jack is survived by his wife, Barbara Padinger, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; son, John C. (Janelle) Padinger, Ft. Atkinson; daughter, Leah N. Padinger, North Carolina; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild and three sisters, Sandra Swanson, Illinois, Ginger Steidl, Birnamwood and Mickey Laatsch, Hatley. The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Aniwa with military rites conducted by the Darling - Gunderson American Legion Post #341.
