Lorinda L. Welton, age 91, of Wausau died Friday, September 14, 2012.
Lorinda was born in Edgar on December 19, 1920 to the late Otto and Katherine (Koppa) Hannemann. She married Glenn Welton on November 12, 1948 in Dubuque, Iowa. Lorinda was a long time member St. James Catholic Church and of Church of the Resurrection in Wausau. She enjoyed cooking and spending time at the cottage.
Survivors include her brother Ervin Hannemann and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn, Brother George, and Sisters Ruth, Florence, and Dorothy.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Church of the Resurrection, 621 Second St., Wausau. The Rev. Timothy Welles will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until the time of the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
