Mark J. Woyak, age 52, Elderon, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 17, 2012.
He was born on August 10, 1959 in Tigerton, the son of Margaret "Peggy" (Gunderson) Breske, Elderon and the late James Woyak.
On August 22, 1981, Mark was united in marriage to Julie Gunderson at Holy Family Catholic Church, Wittenberg. She survives.
Mark was a graduate of Wittenberg - Birnamwood High School. He owned and operated Gunderson Farms in Elderon and also worked part time in ginseng. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Brewers and Packers. He also enjoyed playing softball, bowling, fishing, golfing and vegetable gardening. Mark was a fun loving-man and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Woyak, Elderon; two children, Ryan (Sierra) Woyak, Schofield and Mackenzie (Dan) Kindelberger, Wausau; one grandson, Drayden Woyak; his mother, Peggy (John) Breske, Elderon; his father and mother-in-law, Janet and Eugene "Peanuts" Gunderson, Iola; a special niece, Melissa Frederick; and two special great-nieces, Makayla and Olivia.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, July 23, 2012 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Rev. Roy Witucki will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Rest Cemetery, town of Elderon. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3pm until 7pm and on Monday from 10am until the time of services all at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements. The family guestbook and condolences are available at schmidtschulta.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Mark's name.
