Jayne Nousen, 61, Birnamwood, died on Friday, July 13, 2012 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison.
She was born on March 4, 1951 in Antigo, the daughter of James and Helen (Sikora) Seis. On November 20, 1972, Jayne was united in marriage to Jon Nousen in Watertown, SD. He survives.
Jayne was currently employed at Sheldons' of Antigo, making flies and fishing lures. She was a faithful member of St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood and it's Altar Society. Jayne enjoyed camping at Lake Metonga, shooting pool, bowling, rummaging and the occasional trip to the casino. Jayne was also an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. Most important to her was the time she spent with her family and watching her grandchildren's sporting events.
She is survived by her husband; Jon, Birnamwood, parents; James and Helen Seis, Antigo, two sons; Ryan (Sadie) Nousen and Chad (Shelly) Nousen, all of Birnamwood, six grandchildren; Tyler, Brandon, Nicole, Jacob, Michaela and Matthew "Weasel", siblings; Suzy (Ken) Uttecht, Birnamwood, Joanie (David) Chrudimsky, Antigo, John (Julie) Seis, Antigo and Fr. Mike Seis, Dominican Republic, a brother-in-law; Alan (Lucille) Nousen, Birnamwood, a sister-in-law; Susan (Mike) Fischer, Hatley, very special friends; Judy and Andy Resch, Birnamwood and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6PM on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood. Fr. Mike Seis will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Cemetery, Birnamwood. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2PM until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Jayne's name to the Missions of the Dominican Republic.
