Kenneth LaVern Klinger, 63, of the town of Berlin, passed away on Monday,
July 2, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Wausau on November 14, 1948,
to the late LaVern and LaVerna (Hardell) Klinger.
Kenneth lived in this area all of his life. He worked at Kraft Foods in
Wausau. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Kenneth enjoyed league bowling and playing baseball in Athens. He liked to
watch the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. His family was
important, and he enjoyed spending time with his nephews and great-nephews
watching them race motocross.
Kenneth is survived by two brothers, Jerome (Ruth Ann) Klinger and Roger
Klinger; three nephews, Kevin Klinger, Keith (Laena) Klinger, and Kris
(Carrie) Klinger; one niece, Kim (Wayne) Mackesy; five great-nephews; and
two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Helke
Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau, with the Rev. David Faulkner
officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the
time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Big Hill
Cemetery, town of Berlin.
