Steve R. Seehafer, age 56, of Wausau died Friday, June 22, 2012. Steve was born on September 1, 1955 in Wausau to Emil and Donna (Broome) Seehafer. He will be remembered as a kind, soft hearted, good man who was always willing to give anybody a helping hand. He also loved being “Up North” fishing. Steve is survived by his mother Donna Seehafer of Wausau; sister Jo Linn (Michael) Fack of Illinois; nephews Christopher and Matthew Fack and neice Sarah Fack; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father Emil, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St, Wausau. The Rev. Keane Foster will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery.
