Diana F. Wruck, 60, of Wausau, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Wausau
Manor. She was born to Raymond and Delores (Baker) Wruck on November 20,
1951 in Shawano, Wis. Diana grew up and lived in the area most of her life.
She graduated from D.C. Everest High School in 1970. She worked 33 years
for the U.S. Postal Service in Wausau and at the Rothschild sorting
facility.
Diana enjoyed being around people and her family. She would spend time
playing softball at the Kelly Club, shooting pool in women’s league, playing
darts, or bowling. Her favorite activity was to play Cribbage with her
friends and family. Diana and her mother had great times together at
Relocation Bar for food and entertainment. Diana was a member of Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church, Wausau, and a member of the Ladies Aid. She was also
active in the American Postal Workers Union and the Multiple Sclerosis
Foundation.
She is survived by her mother, Delores Wruck; brothers, Dennis (Lana) Wruck,
Randy (Vicki) Wruck, and Dale Wruck (Lois Pestka-Wruck); nieces and nephews,
Amanda (Joel) Case, Jeremy Wruck, Matthew Wruck, Robb Wruck, Nicole
Schreurs, Lacey Schreurs, Adam (Debbie) Resch, and Heather Praslowicz; and
many friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her father, Raymond.
A funeral service will be at 11:30 am, Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church, 703 Flieth St., Wausau, with the Rev. Robert Edwards
officiating. Family and friends may call beginning at 9:30 am until the
time of service at the church. Entombment will be in Restlawn Chapel
Mausoleum, Wausau.
