The warm up has not stopped skiers from skiing or Granite Peak from staying busy. Avid skiers can still go down the slopes just as well as before.
The operations manager at Granite Peak says they prepare each fall for a hike in temperatures by saving extra snow. Skiers say they are happy they can still enjoy the slopes.
Tomorrow we are predicted to get anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow. If this happens, Baumann says skiers and employees at Granit Peak will be excited.
