Food items, such as canned meats, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables, cereal and rice will be picked up by letter carriers on their routes or at the front desk at the post office.

Author of Hmong History Book to Visit Wausau

Dr. Paul HIlmer, author of "A People's History of the Hmong" will be at Marathon County Public Library Wausau Headquarters at 6:30 p.m. on April 28, 2011. He is a professor of American History and Director of the Hmong Oral History Project at Concordia University.

Council Grounds to host Candlelight Hike

Council Grounds State Park – newly reopened after it was hit by a violent storm April 10 – will host an open house and candlelight hike on Saturday, April 30. No vehicle admission sticker will be required on this day.
