Some kids are finding out what it takes to be an Olympic medalist at a young age.
The Wausau Kiwanis hosted their 46th Annual Little Olympics Saturday morning at Stiehm Stadium.
Young athletes ran, jumped hurdles, and tossed bean bags for a chance at the winning title. It was more than fun in the sun for some kids, it was a competition of dedication and hard work.
"I was in the Kiefer Swanson and I wanted to beat my record 112 and I'm doing the 400, 100 and the long jump," Brooke Jworski.
Brooke said her father has been teaching her how to run since she was 5 years old.
