Goblins...ghosts... and ghouls...oh my! Pint size trick-or-treaters take over River Park in Mosinee.
For some, The Haunting of River Park signals the official start of trick-or-treat. For others, it's just a good time. But no matter you're reason for coming you won't be disappointed.
"We have Virginia, the goat who comes and visits us at the log jam. And we have pin the tail on the donkey and pin the tail on the goat. We have the haunted bakery where you can make cookies. And we have a jail where our actual Chief of Police is," Executive Director of the Mosinee Area Chamber, Tammy Campo, explained.
Kids went booth to booth in this haunted ghost town collecting candy. But there was a catch. First they had to do a trick to get their treat. At one booth that meant digging for candy in the popcorn, finding the finger in the spaghetti and jello and looking for the eyeball in the pea soup.
Although Saturday's event was geared more towards younger kids, the adults seemed to be enjoying themselves too.
"It's all for the kids so they can have fun and enjoy Halloween," father of three. Jonathan Henke, told NewsChannel 7.
The Haunting of River Park is an annual fundraiser for the Mosinee Chamber. This year they are raising money to create a community center for the arts.
