The Riverfront Rendezvous is officially underway in Stevens Point. The annual music festival offers free admission, good food and plenty of family fun. This is the event's 29th year at Pfiffner Pioneer Park and features music ranging from bluegrass and country to rock and even polka.
"We've been coming to the Riverfront Rendezvous for years," Shelley Kovach tells NewsChannel 7. "We've been in the Point area for my whole life and it's fun to come to."
"Lots of people. It's a good time. It's free. Good music. Good food," husband Pete adds.
The Rendezvous runs now through Sunday, with fireworks Saturday at dusk. Thursday and Friday the park opens at noon and stays open until 10:00 p.m. Friday the park opens at 5:00 p.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m.
