This Sunday, thousands of people will come to Wausau for the second annual Susan G. Komen Central Wisconsin Race for the Cure.
Last year 2,200 people took part, and organizers hope to top that number this year. So far more than 1,200 people have signed up for the event that raises money for breast cancer research.
But they also need volunteers to help out this weekend, and you can sign up online.
"There all diff sorts of volunteer activities listed on that website and they can chose the one that interests them the most or the time slot that fits their availability," says event organizer Ann Dahlke.
They need help with set up on Saturday, and day of help, like working at the registration booth, water stations, or guiding the runners along the course.
