More than 100 veterans came home to a heroes welcome Monday as friends, family and fellow service members greeted The Never Forgotten Honor Flight at CWA.

After a whirlwind day in our Nation's Capital, veterans and their guardians were all smiles as they de-planed at 10:00PM Monday night. Their day began well before departure time at 6:00AM. After flying into Reagan International Airport, the vets traveled to the World War II, Korea and Vietnam memorials. They also attended the changing of the guards at Arlington National Cemetery and visited Iwo Jima. The vets we spoke with said it was a trip they will never forget.
