Right across the road from the Deer Trail Park Campground in Nekoosa that was severely damaged from the Sunday evening tornado, neighbors are also focusing on clean up.
Three massive pine trees fell on top of August and Emily Henke's home during the storm.
They say throughout their 5-acre property, about 100 trees total came down.
They knew a tornado was headed their way, and quickly hit the basement. They say they are thankful to have survived.
"We went outside and looked at all the damage it was unbelievable, we couldn't get the door open we had to move the tree branches from the front door in order to get out," August Henke said.
Monday, neighbors and family members came to their rescue getting clean up started.
Neither were hurt.
