A curfew is in effect for the hardest hit areas of Merrill.
It started at 9 p.m. Monday and runs until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
It's for neighborhoods where heavy clean-up is underway, particulary on the northwest side of the city.
Only people who live in that area will be allowed in.
"There are so many buildings damagaed that are open. Just for security of the area and people's property," said Mark Handlin, Lincoln County's 911 administrator.
Safety leaders will continue to monitor the situation, and extend the curfew if needed.
