(Press Release) Are you traveling to Cranberry Fest from the West using Hwy 70? Expect delays as you enter Eagle River. To avoid this delay and to get you to Cranberry Fest in a timely manner, we are suggesting that you take the alternate route that has been set up.

Watch for signs and the Cranberry Fest logo to direct you around the delay.

Alternate Route: Approaching Eagle River from the West on Hwy 70. Take Sunset Road to the left and follow to Hwy G. Turn right onto Hwy G and follow to Hwy 45. Turn right onto Hwy 45 and follow into Eagle River.

Once you have arrived in Eagle River feel free to find parking at the Eagle River Derby Track (Hwy 45 N) or in the Downtown area. If you park at the Derby Track, visit the Cranberry Fest Market Place and then take the FREE SHUTTLE BUS to Cranberry Fest’s festival grounds and downtown Eagle River. Buses will be running approximately every half hour and will stop at the following locations: Eagle River Chamber of Commerce, Olson Memorial Library, at the corner of First and Wall Street (M&I Bank), the First Congregational Church, The Eagle River Derby Track and at the East gate of the Vilas County Fairgrounds. Please park throughout the downtown area or at the Derby Track and catch the shuttle bus to help assist in traffic control. Your assistance in taking the shuttle bus will not only help create a safer Cranberry Fest, but it will help you to get to and from the Cranberry Fest grounds more quickly.

Shuttle Bus Schedule: Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 (9am – 5pm) and Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 (10am – 2pm)
