Gov. Walker Visits Wausau Business

The state's new governor isn't letting threats stop him from making his rounds across the state.

Thursday afternoon, Governor Scott Walker visited PDM Bridge in Wausau, talking about his goals to help move the state forward.

He says he's committed to helping businesses thrive in the state, and bringing new employers from other parts of the country.

The governor says our workers are our biggest asset for new companies.

"We've got tremendous workers in the state who embody the Midwestern work ethic. We've got great employers, in many cases employers that are multi-generational owners, and for those that aren't they treat their employees like family. We've got phenominal assets," said Gov. Scott Walker.

He says he'd also like to see incentives created to encourage business and turn our economy around.

Along with PDM Bridge, the governor also visted businesses in Eau Claire and De Pere.
