Fishermen and women were out on Lake DuBay today, casting their lines and hoping to catch more than just fish.
They were fishing for a cure. In a tournament designed to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
For a $20 donation, you could enter your catch in the tournament and possibly win a prize.
If fishing is not you're thing, there were plenty of raffles you could enter.
This was the second year friends Ben Mueller and Dave Strebig teamed up to plan this tournament. They say it all began with a desire to help children in the community.
"We're lucky enough to have been raised healthy," Mueller said.
For Mueller and Strebig, the cause is personal as they both have kids of their own. They say they can't even imagine what it must be like for a child and their family to deal with life a threatening illness.
Their goals this year was to raise $18,000. That's more than double the amount they raised last year.
If you missed the tournament, but still wish to contribute you can send donations directly to Dock of DuBay Bar & Grille or Integrity First Bank.
