MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A woman from southeastern Wisconsin is the newest host of the weekly tourism show, Discover Wisconsin.

Yorkville native Emmy Fink beat more than 400 candidates during the five-month long interview process.

The 27-year-old tells The Journal Times that her family watched the show when she was a child and got great vacation ideas from it.

She majored in broadcast journalism and K-12 physical education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and hosted a broadcast news show for her campus cable network.

She's already working on episodes that will begin airing in November.
