Blood Drive Being Held Friday at Rothschild Village Hall

Summer is a critical time for blood donations. To encourage donors, the BloodCenter of Wisconsin is giving away a free ticket to the Wisconsin Valley Fair to every donor.

The blood drive is from noon until 6 p.m. Friday, July 15th and again next week on July 28th and 29th at the Rothschild Village Hall at 211 Grand Avenue.

To donate you must be at least 16 years old, weigh 110 lbs. and be in good health. 16-year-olds must have parental permission.

Donors can make an appointment by calling 1-888-310-7555, signing up online, or by just showing up the day of the drive.

Seems a little unfair to those of us whose eligiblity to donate doesn't fall into this timeframe. I religiously donate every two months, no thank you for me?
