Wisconsin's largest northern motorcycle rally is underway in the Northwoods. Day two of the 32nd Annual Fall Ride kicked off early this morning and by the looks of it, we could see a record turnout.

The Harley spirit is alive and well in Tomahawk as more than 30,000 bikers from across the United States are expected to make the annual pilgrimage to the Northwoods.

"We're having a blast up here," one attendee shouted.

The five day event is filled with activities including live music, fun runs and the affectionately named "Thunder Parade." Fall Ride is also a great opportunity for Harley enthusiasts to check out the new 2014 bikes. The new bikes are a result of what Harley is calling Project Rushmore.

"I love it. The design is fantastic," rider Tony Nakhla gushed.

"This is our first time coming up to the event," Jason Treiterer of Milwaukee told NewsChannel 7. "We've got some great friends up here and the weather has turned out beautiful. We enjoy everything, all the scenery that's up here. It's just great. It's a great event."

Surprisingly the best part of Fall Ride may not be the bikes, but the cause. All the proceeds from the events at Sara Park will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Each year the ride raises anywhere from $70,000 to $100,000 for MDA. All that money stays in North Central Wisconsin to help families pay for clinic visits, research and MDA summer camp.
