Asprius donated $125,000 to the Hodag Facilities Foundation Monday, which is helping fund building improvements within the Rhinelander School District.
The money will go toward the Aspirus Community Fitness Center at the high school.
Construction to the auditorium, gymnasium and pool is underway at the school. Remodeling should be finished by next fall.
A digital media lab will be built and a science lab will be renovated.
Aspirus Clinic' Chief Operating Officer Dean Danner says they were looking for a way to support the community.
"The 125,000 donation will go toward the fitness center which will be used to hopefully help students get more physically fit and will also be used for the community and promoting health and wellness programs," he said.
The Hodag Facilities Foundation has a goal of raising $1 million; so far they've reached about 60 percent of their goal.
The community passed a referendum in February for building improvements throughout the district.
