After yesterday’s strong storms in Wausau, the City is taking steps to aid cleanup.
Wausau’s yard waste site will be open the rest of this week and all of next week. That site is located at the east end of Chellis street.
It will be open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Starting next Monday, the Department of Public Works crews will be picking up branches in the areas north of Randolph Street on the west side of the Wisconsin River, and north of Franklin Street on the east side of the Wisconsin River.
The City is asking homeowners to place branches on the boulevard area with the butt ends of the branches towards the street.
