Authorities Need More Info to Find Missing Antigo Teen

Although police continue to receive many tips, officers still cannot locate missing Antigo teenager, Kayla Berg.

Berg, 16, was last seen being dropped off by a friend in Wausau on Aug. 11th.

Several days later her parents reported her missing.

Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller says the department believes the girl is with some friend who are withholding her whereabouts....at least that's what they hope.

"Right now we're under the impression, we're hoping she is with some friends and somebody's keeping her for a reason. She doesn't wanna come back to the family for some reason, that she's staying away," Chief Roller said.

He says anyone who is hiding the teen will be criminally charged.

Kayla is about 5'2'' tall, nearly 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police welcome any tips from the public.

Crimestoppers is offering a cash award for information leading to her recovery. They can be reached at 715-627-6245.
