Little Esther Kettner appears to be doing just fine.
According to her family, the nearly 7-month-old survivor is acting like a normal baby who's happy to see her relatives.
To ensure Esther is well taken care of, the family has started a fund for her at Center City Credit Union in Stevens Point.
The community has already stepped up to help.
"She's not gonna have her mother around. So there's always the unknown part of her future," said Tim Higgins, Esther's great-uncle.
"She lost everything she's known," said his wife Mary, who is also Esther's mother Christine's godmother.
The Higgins say Esther is being taken care of by a foster mother right now, but will be adopted by someone she's related to.
