Some area Hmong families attended the 3rd Annual Mind, Body and Spirit Wellness Conference in Plover Saturday. The seminar includes speakers on food safety, family stress management and and the American legal system.

Organizers say their goal is to give an opportunity for women to ask questions in an open forum to give educators in the community some insight to help them reach out and better serve the Hmong community.

Organizers say this conference helps families understand the importance of listening to women in the Hmong community, and hope to add more social networking groups for them in the future.
