If you head in nearly any direction in Wausau tomorrow, you will most likely run into one of the three Artrageous events here.

They include the "Art in the Park" event, happening at Marathon Park, where they are selling hand-made arts and crafts. Next is the "Festival of the Arts" that will be held in Wausau's downtown river district. And the "Birds in Art" event happening at the Woodson Art Museum. They are expected to have about 57 artists there alone, coming in from as far as Australia and Japan.

The Artrageous Weekend can bring in some big revenues for the Wausau area. This is the 20th year all three events have worked together, and it's expected to attract about 40,000 people. The directors of each event expect Wausau to benefit greatly with filled hotel rooms, busy restaurants and retail sales.
