(Press Release) Women of Vision is a signature event of the YWCA Wausau. During the past 19 years, we have honored a total of 59 women with our Women of Vision awards. Women from all walks of life have received this designation for their contributions to life in our community and surrounding area. We have recognized artists, authors, educators, and those who have initiated new programs. We have also presented this award to leaders in business, civic, non-profit, health care, government and volunteer pursuits.
All of these women had a strong desire to help others and a vision to make our communities better places in which to live. The Women of Vision luncheon has a tradition of inspiring audiences of both women and men, year after year.
This year we proudly welcome Justice Ann Walsh Bradley as the even speaker.
Please join us to celebrate the stories of these inspiring women at our Women of Vision luncheon, on May 11, 2011.
