If you have a wheelchair or any other medical equipment that you would like to unload, you can do so, and help others in need at the same time.

The Wheelchair Recycling Program is holding a collection drive today in Stevens Point.

The drive will begin at 9:00 this morning and run until 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Stevens Point Holiday Inn on 1100 Amber Ave.

The program will also be picking up items for a short time Friday. The drive will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at noon.

The Wheelchair Recycling Program is a non-profit organization that collects used equipment like wheelchairs, canes, crutches, and other items, them refurbishes them and makes them available at low or no cost to people in need.
