Here are some fun facts about the Wisconsin Valley Fair:

-The Wisconsin Valley Fair is made up of 80 acres

-In 1924, the Wisconsin Valley Fair was billed as the largest in Wisconsin outside of State Fair

-The first Wisconsin Valley Fair lasted two days

-In 1926, Harry K. Zunker and Lillian Stabbe married in the grandstands during the Wisconsin Valley Fair

-In 1968, The Wisconsin Valley Fair received the Drewry Memorial award for best fair in Wisconsin

-The first secretary of the Wisconsin Valley Fair was W.C. Silverthorn

-The current administrator is Cindy Artus

-The grandstand was remodeled in 2004

-The first Wisconsin Valley Fair was held in Marathon Park in 1868

-The original judging pavilion built in 1921 is still used today

-Admission prices for the first Wisconsin Valley Fair were as follows: $0.25 per person, $0.50 per team (single or double, including driver), and $5 per membership (free admission for themselves and family to the fair)
