Rides, fair food, and farm animals are making their way to Marathon Park in Wausau this week.

The 2011 Wisconsin Valley Fair kicks off on Tuesday. The six day event will draw thousands to the park.

Organizers say there's something for everyone at the fair, and it's also a great way to spend time with the family.

"Families can come and enjoy the rides, enjoy what our 4-H kids have to offer the animals shows, our judging for our dairy and our houses," said Maria Budnik, the fair administrator. "We have a great grandstand lineup this year, the draft show on Sunday is going to be really exciting, and the demo derby Sunday evening at 6 p.m. is going to be really exciting for families."

The musical lineup this year features The Beach Boys, Craig Morgan, Sawyer Brown, Styx, and Sick Puppies.
