There might be quite a bit of snow on the ground, but plans are already underway for the 2011 Wisconsin Valley Fiar.
From securing entertainment to contacting potential judges, the fair administrator says the hard work started right after the 2010 fair wrapped up.
"If we weren't starting at this time of year, it would be a lot harder come May, June to make sure we have everything taken care of," says Lisa Kumfer, fair administrator.
She says the quality of the fair would also suffer.
Leaders are hoping to have the entertainment secured sometime this week following a fair convention in the dells.
