Organizers are putting the finishing touches on plans for the 2011 Wisconsin Valley Fair.
Even though it's still more than a month away, the deadline to get involved is quickly approaching. The fair administrator says a majority of the vendors are all lined up, but that doesn't mean you can't show quilts, flowers, and even cakes.
"The biggest thing right now is being involved," said Fair Administrator Maria Budnik. "That would be if they would be interested in entering an open class, in our open class division."
She says you can also come out to the fair and support your local 4-H chapter or watch a demolition derby.
The event runs from August 2-7. Weekly passes cost $19. The musical entertainment lineup includes Craig Morgan, Sawyer Brown, and Styx.
