Two Dane County officials are backing the 9-1-1 center, calling its overall performance top-notch.
The center has been in the middle of controversy since word came this week that Brittany Zimmerman called 9-1-1 before she was murdered, but no one was dispatched to investigate her call.
The dispatcher says she didn't hear anyone on the line when answering Zimmerman's call.
Dane County officials concede the employee broke department policy by not calling the number back, instead answering another call that was coming in.
Friday, Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk said county and city leaders are working to release more information about the handling of the call.
Falk says a probe into the performance of the 9-1-1 center continues.
She says the county is looking into the performance of 9-1-1 center workers, technology at the center and whether all policies were followed.
The county is expected to release more information next week.
Authorities have refused to release information about Zimmerman's call, including when it came in, its duration, or a transcript of the call.
Audio from that call has not been released either.
