This past weekend Margo Spann and I had the pleasure of being speakers for the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association student seminar in Madison.
We each sat on a panel where we were able to answer questions from college students across the state who are interested in broadcasting. My session was called “Radio/TV News” and I was able to address many topics, such as: how I got into broadcasting, what my job duties are every day, and how the times have changed since I started in “the business”.
It was great to meet the many young students who are interested in a career in broadcasting, and feel their enthusiasm and excitement toward their future possibilities. I hope I was able to answer all of their questions, and show them what we are like when the cameras are off.
So, now it’s your turn. Is there anything you would like to know about me or my job? If so, please let me know….
