Getting Ready for Vacation!!!

Recently I've been running around like crazy trying to get ready for vacation.  I'll be going to Las Vegas soon for a little get away.  I haven't been there for about 3 years, and I haven't taken a real vacation in about 2 years.. so needless to say I am very excited.  But, not having gone on vaca for a while.. I feel like I am so out of the loop.  I had to dig out the old luggage, hop on the TSA website to find out the latest regulations when it comes to flying, figure out what I actually want to pack in my checked luggage and how much I can actually stuff in my carry-on, and so on and so forth.   I am now busy trying to buy everything I need on my extensive list ( including a swimming suit-yuck :) ), and get what seems like an endless list of things done before I go.  All while worrying that something is going to go wrong. So I need your help.. do you have any advice on how to make sure things run smoothly while traveling?  And do you have any ideas of fun things to do while in the Vegas area (besides the obvious)?  If you have anything to share I'd appreciate it!

Stephanie: When you fly, wear light, minimal clothing without belts and buckles. Also wear sandles or flip flops. This will make you less likely to be stopped in security for additional investigation and make passing through security that much quicker. Have a great time on vacation! Michael
