Well here we go again with the same old story of how fireworks that leave the ground are illegal ,but why is it legal for people to sell them? I have not heard that story yet!!!!and if you get caught you will be fined???????shouldn't the guy at this huge fireworks stand get a fine too??after all he knowingly sold them to you!!I just don't understand how it can be legal to sell them but illegal to have them ,start fining the sellers too!!!!!!!!now there's a story.

Posted by: Anonymous selling them is not illegal, buying them is not illegal setting them off is not illegal, its the person that somehow got them with out a permit from a friend or in my case a person just walked up and gave me a box full so i took them 2 a friend who had a permit and we set them off it was sweet, with out a permit that showes that you are setting them off in a safe place that is what makes it illegal,

In the 9 years that i've set off illegal firework i've never had a problem with getting caught. It must be the problem of setting them off in the city limits of wausau or the greater area.

Posted by: Anonymous You get the permitts to buy/sell from the state. As far as buying from an Indian reservation they can do whatever they want, apparently because they are exempt. But, I could have a permit to sell brains, U need 1?

Its kind of like selling alcohol to a minor and telling them they can't drink it until they're 21. You can't shoot the fireworks off unless you have a permit, its a joke, that dosen't deter anybody I know from buying and shooting off "illegal" fireworks.

I'm not against fireworks I just wanted to know why its illegal to have them but legal to sell them?????and apparently you don't know either and for the person that wrote its called a permit!!wow you told me but are you selling or buying?the permits you get from the fireworks stand don't hold up in court.but have fun anyway
